#1 Executive Vice President’s Quote (June 21, 2015)
Samsung Electronics is the world’s largest technology company and the world’s largest television and mobile phone manufacturer. It’s no surprise that people are interested to see what we’re doing with printers, our B2B-targeted business. We periodically publish contents that communicate our company vision, and we’re always happy to see the enthusiastic response to these updates. This #1 content is a testament to the loyalty of Samsung Printing Solutions’s fans.
#2 iF Design Award Wins (March 3, 2015)
Early this spring, we won the iF Gold award for A3 printers. This makes us the 1st in printing industry to receive iF Gold for both A4 and A3 printers. The MX4 is a product designed specifically to enhance user experience, with a 10.1-inch tablet user interface replacing the standard buttons you find on traditional MFPs. The MX7, M5370, and M45 series also received product design awards for their integrated and clean designs.
#3 Smart UX Software Developer Kit (April 19, 2015)
The Smart UX Software Developer Kit is a unique tool that we offer developers so they can create the printing apps they want. The Android platform that all of our products run on allows for customization, and we take full advantage of this benefit. We think that’s pretty cool, and we’re happy to see that you feel the same.
#4 Smart Printer Diagnostic System (March 22, 2015)
Samsung Group as a corporation is well-known for service capacity and quality, and we at Samsung Printing Solutions are no different.
The Smart Printer Diagnostic System is the industry’s first mobile application consisting of image and video guides for troubleshooting printer errors.
#5 Smart UX Center (June 14, 2015)
Smart UX Center, the world’s first Android-based control panel tablet, right on the printer. Any update we publish on this nifty gadget is well-liked. And for good reason – it simplifies printing workflow with its simple and intuitive user interface. It’s a symbol of what digital technology in today’s day and age can achieve on an office device as traditional as the printer.
#6 Smart Printer Diagnostic System (June 11, 2015)
SPDS makes engineers’ jobs easier by automatically recognizing printer errors. The mobile app shows the error code and the steps to fix the issue. Our already well-trained engineers can work even faster, saving their and the users’ time.
#7 SmarThru™ Workflow Lite (March 26, 2015)
SmarThru™ Workflow Lite is part of Business Core™ Printing Solutions, a package of the most practical and useful solutions that we think all businesses would benefit from using. This solution maximizes office productivity by allowing users to distribute documents to multiple destinations at once, including e-mail, FTP, fax, and so on. It remains popular with businesses of all sizes and types.
#8 Smart UX Center’s Easy Launcher (May 21, 2015)
Easy Launcher is a Smart UX Center widget that acts as a simplified, easy-to-use launch panel that features the settings you adjust most, such as number of copies and simplex/duplex. It is a product of digital technology and user-friendly design, offering the convenience of a smart touch control center and the ease of using a familiar, traditional control panel. Another neat feature is that you can insert your company’s logo in the panel, meaning you can show off the same logo in your large format displays on your office printer, too.
#9 Barcode Recognition (March 21, 2015)
Most printer brands offer OCR and barcode recognition technology as a paid solution, but our MFPs feature it as a native function. With this technology, filing different documents no longer requires sorting papers by hand. All it takes is a one-load feed, and the printer takes care of the rest.
#10 SecuThru™ Lite 2 (April 6, 2015)
Think those of us in the printing industry lack a sense of humor? Think again. We had some fun with this content, dramatizing the situation of rushing to the printer to pick up a print job with private information. With our security solution SecuThru™ Lite 2, you can password-protect print jobs, having them release only upon password input.
